Idles will be playing a gig at the 100 Club in London for War Child after receiving a BRITs 2019 nomination.

Along with The 1975, Anne-Marie, Bring Me The Horizon, Jake Bugg, Tom Odell, Mabel, You Me At Six, AJ Tracey, Nick Mulvey, Enter Shikari, DJ Semtex and Frank Turner, they’ll be a part of BRITs week between February 11th-22nd as the awards ceremony teams up with War Child for a fifth year running. “It’s amazing to see the music industry coming together once again to support children affected by conflict across the world,” Jim Benner of War Child UK says.

“We’re looking forward to creating more wonderful moments and as ever we’re overwhelmed by the incredible support of some of the best artists making music right now.”

“In 2019 we’re celebrating 10 years of partnering with O2 and with their support and the continued dedication of music fans together we’ve changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of the world’s most vulnerable children.”

Idles received their nomination in the British Breakthrough category where they’ll be at the mercy of a public vote, as will Ella Mai, Jorja Smith, Mabel and Tom Walker.
