Fat White Family have unveiled their Feet single to lay the groundwork for the release of a new studio album on April 19th.

The Serfs Up! LP will be the band’s first since 2016’s Songs For Our Mothers, after which various side projects – particularly The Moonlandingz – took off to such a degree that they were compelled to announce a hiatus for that band as ‘they never really expected things would blow up way they have’, whilst leaving open the possibility that they will at some point ‘reconvene for phase two in Moonlandingz world’.

Serfs Up! has now got Fat White Family back to the forefront of Saul Adamczewski and Lias Saoudi’s thoughts, and is described in a statement as a ‘lush and masterful work, lascivious and personal’:

“Tropical, sympathetic and monumental, it invites the listener in rather than repel them through wilful abrasion. Fat White Family have broken previous default patterns of behaviour. As such, their third album heralds a new day dawning.”
