Morrissey‘s next move will be a covers album featuring his take on tracks by Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Dionne Warwick and plenty more.
BMG have lined up the release of California Son for an as-yet-unspecified time, with Don’t Interrupt The Sorrow from Mitchell, Dylan’s Only A Pawn In Their Game and Dionne Warwick’s Loneliness Remembers What Happiness Forgets among the twelve tracks.
This follows Morrissey’s cover of The Pretenders’ Back On The Chain Gang, a song he told Rolling Stone can be ‘safely be counted as a pop classic’.
