Circa Waves have unveiled their UK tour plans for next year.

Third album What’s It Like Over There? was confirmed last week for release on April 5th 2019, and the tour is due to start shortly after at the Oxford O2 Academy. Visits to Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Bristol, London and Newcastle are also planned.

Frontman Kieran Shudall and guitarist Joe Falconer have said they wanted to ‘start seeing themselves less in those defined roles – the drummer, the bass player – and blurring the lines a bit more’ on their new album. “I’m really getting into the world of ‘let the song be the greatest song it could be’, and not let the restrictions of ‘we’re a rock band’ rule,” Shudall added.

“We wanted to make it as big and powerful and as cinematic as it could be. Being completely open to using everything at your whim is really exciting.”
