Pretty Vicious live in New York City (Paul Bachmann / Live4ever)
Pretty Vicious have continued their reemergence, of sorts, with another new track set for inclusion on their debut album.
Are You Entertained?, a song about ‘teenage exuberance and rebellion’ according to frontman Brad Griffiths, is available now ahead of the forthcoming LP’s release next year via Big Machine/John Varvatos Records, a place the band have finally been able to call home.
Live4ever was at their recent show in London, and found ‘engagement, enthusiasm and raw energy’ all in evidence:
“National Plastics sees the moshing circle intensify, which peaks during the band’s anthem Cave Song. Having Brad introduce the upcoming single Are You Entertained serves to electrify the crowd still more, the sound of an established band with a real grasp of what makes their crowd tick.
“Yet it’s worth bearing in mind that Pretty Vicious are still just in their early twenties, it being easy to forget that when seeing them play live they display a sound beyond their years.”
