Grant’s Love Is Magic was announced back in the summer; “Each record I make is more of an amalgamation of who I am,” he said at the time. “The more I do this, the more I trust myself, and the closer I get to making what I imagine in my head.”

Kurt Vile, meanwhile, has moved a bit quicker to get his new solo LP Bottle It In out into the world, sharing the details just last month along with plans for European and North American tours which will keep him occupied until the end of 2018. He’s stated:

“It’s like that moment on the airplane when you’re on your way somewhere and you have that burst of panic. When you’re terrified of dying, that’s when you want people to know you love them.”
