Paul Weller has shared new track The Soul Searchers a week before its parent album True Meanings is released.

The album is packed full of collaborations; Noel Gallagher, Martin Carthy and Lucy Rose all appear, and this preview is no different having been produced by Conor O’Brien of Villagers.

Fresh from another hook-up with Noel Gallagher at the Downs Festival in Bristol last weekend when the pair brought out Town Called Malice, Weller will a play a trio of gigs in the Low Countries next month, and is set to be backed by an orchestra when he plays two nights at the Royal Festival Hall in London:

“It’s going to be a special two shows performing tracks from the new album and adding some older tracks into the set, all backed with a brilliant orchestra.”

Tour dates:

October
4 – Netherlands, Utrecht Tivoli, Vredenburg
5 – Belgium, Leuven The Depot
6 – Netherlands, Rotterdam Theatre
11,12 – London, Royal Festival Hall
