The 18th solo album of Paul McCartney‘s career, Egypt Station, has been released today – have a listen on Live4ever via Spotify.

McCartney has been endulging in a fair amount of nostalgia during the album’s promotional campaign, from showing a commendable degree of patience when sharing a car-ride with James Corden around Liverpool, to a photo opportunity along side hundreds of other daily tourists at Abbey Road. “I liked the words ‘Egypt Station’,” he’s said.

“It reminded me of the ‘album’ albums we used to make…Egypt Station starts off at the station on the first song and then each song is like a different station. So it gives us some idea to base all the songs around that. I think of it as a dream location that the music emanates from.”
