New albums from Interpol and White Denim have been released today – enjoy your New Music Friday by listening to both right here on Live4ever via Spotify.

Interpol confirmed the details of their sixth studio album back in June, and have since been previewing with lead track The Rover as well as Number 10 and If You Really Love Nothing – the latter of which has just been given an official video starring Kristen Stewart and Finn Wittrock. “More than most, Interpol generate a feeling,” our review reads.

“It’s probably closest to what we know as anxiety, fuelled as it is by self-doubt but also dichotomised with righteousness. Marauder is a perfect honing of this trademark sound, but with added aplomb.”

White Denim are also celebrating today with the release of Performance, the band’s follow-up to 2016’s Stiff and which Live4ever summed up as one that, ‘flies past at breakneck speed, never letting up in either tempo or tone‘.

“In truth, it could do with one or two slower pieces to provide some breathing space from the freneticism, but that’s a minor quibble. That’s what Sunday mornings are for. This is a Saturday night album.”
