Exploded View have unveiled Sleepers from their new album Obey, due on September 28th as the follow-up to 2016’s self-titled debut.
“Break free and fly above the clouds outside the lines that we were told were good for us,” the band have said.
“Free yourself from your own prison. Remove the shackles of fear to find that the unknown is not so scary and can be full of precious discoveries (sometimes only possible during sleep). A constant trip comes to an abrupt and unresolved ending with the collapse and eerie shriek of the Arp Solina.”
They’ll tour the album through North America starting on October 19th in Dallas, staying out on the road until mid-November.
Live4ever named Exploded View one of our albums of 2016 after summing it up as, ‘a captivating musical document that pristinely captures the mystery and talent behind a special frozen moment in time’.
