Alt-J have shared In Cold Blood from their upcoming remixed version of the 2017 album Relaxer.
This Reduxer remix was helmed by Twin Shadow who, along with the likes of Pusha-T, Danny Brown and Rejjie Snow, has been taxed with adding a significant hip-hop flavour to the band’s third studio album.
“It’s no secret that we love and are influenced by hip-hop, and it’s always been a dream of ours to work with hip-hop artists in reimagining our music,” Alt-J said.
“With ‘Reduxer’ that dream has come true. We couldn’t be happier with the results. This album is truly global, featuring rappers and producers from all over the world. After a very long time in the making, we are stoked to share it with you all.”
Reduxer is released on September 28th and will be taken out on the road the following month.
