Sunflower Bean will set out on another UK tour with their second album Twentytwo In Blue in November.
Gigs start in Cardiff on November 19th, after which the band head to cities such as Leeds, London, Oxford, Glasgow and Bristol before closing out on the first day of November at Castle And Falcon in Birmingham.
Live4ever summed up Twentytwo In Blue as ‘a fine piece of work’, praising an evolution from ‘psyche-sodden missives to something more wholesome’ when compared to their debut Human Ceremony:
“The album ends on both an optimistic and wistful note. Despite its title, Oh No, Bye Bye offers hope for whatever our uncertain futures may hold; Kivlen takes lead vocals as the male protagonist in the story with Cummings cooing, “At least we would have each other, and I think it would be alright”.”
