Astronaut Tim Peake was the first to report news of Snow Patrol‘s video for their Wildness album track Life On Earth.
Filmed at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands, it comes after the band made their live return in London last night in anticipation of the album’s release on May 25th. “There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all it’s confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness,”frontman Gary Lightbody has said.
“Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”
Snow Patrol head over to the States now for shows in New York and Los Angeles before undertaking a tour of Ireland in May.
