It’s been a North American tour which has seen Noel Gallagher continue to move away from the well-trodden past which he was intent on leaving behind with last year’s third solo album Who Built The Moon?. With the High Flying Birds now expanded, a much more rounded, soul-tinged theme has been running through performances which started last month.

When the tour reached Houston on March 3rd, Lloyd Hendricks was there to sample Live4ever’s first taste of this new era.
