While Lollapalooza might have branched out across the world since it finally settled in Chicago a decade or so ago, Grant Park remains the one they all want to play, and its Jack White and the Arctic Monkeys who have got headline billing this year.

Bruno Mars and The Weeknd will also top the festival between August 2nd-5th as the Arctic Monkeys add North America to what is already a very busy season of European festival appearances. Some more names on the bill include The National, Franz Ferdinand, Parquet Courts, Vampire Weekend, St. Vincent, The Vaccines and Dream Wife.

New material is expected from the Arctic Monkeys anytime now after their live return was confirmed earlier this year, bringing to an end a lengthy break for the band since the runaway success of 2013’s AM.

They’ve also recently announced a reissue of their 2006 debut LP Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not as part of the Vinyl Me, Please series.
