Idles frontman Joe Talbot has made fellow Bristolians Lice the first signing of his Balley Records label.

Some ‘early years’ work has been re-recorded by Lice for a two-volume collection entitled It All Worked Out Great, the first of which will be out on April 5th and the second on May 24th. Lice’s Alastair Shuttleworth says the music, ‘could not have been made by perfect people, and does not expect any to be listening’. “As we watch the world seemingly burn; solace is found in the boundless passions of our peers and the hard workings born from that,” Talbot adds.

“LICE are a force beyond the rabble. We are in love. Up the open-minded and up the open-hearted.”

Idles fans will get the opportunity to check out Lice in a live setting when they support an April UK tour.
