Blossoms have set their second studio album Cool Like You for release on April 27th.

The successor to 2016’s UK number one, self-titled debut album is being led by I Can’t Stand It, a track which received its first play on BBC Radio 1 yesterday. “Longevity’s where it lies,” frontman Tom Ogden said on Annie Mac’s show (via NME).

“We’re all best mates and want to keep doing what we’re doing. We had a great time touring the world and doing what everyone in our positions would want to do, but there was always in the back of your mind keep writing songs, get in the studio, and be on the front foot with it.”

Blossoms will spend next month supporting Noel Gallagher throughout Europe, and have newly announced UK dates of their own in May to go with festival appearances which include a headline spot at Bearded Theory.
