The Streets’ Original Pirate Material to get vinyl reissue

Original Pirate Material

New material has been offered up since Mike Skinner announced he was restarting The Streets late last year, but now here’s some news those of us who’ve spent much longer balking at the £100+ eBay prices have been especially waiting for.

Two of the band’s albums, including the modern classic, Mercury nominated debut Original Pirate Material, will be re-released on vinyl by Rhino Records next month. 2004’s A Grand Don’t Come For Free is the other set to arrive on March 30th, just ahead of the Greatest Hits tour’s launch in Berlin.

Most of the tour is to be spent in the UK and Ireland, with gigs coming up in Dublin, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds. Rounding it all off are three nights at the Brixton Academy in London.
