The Boxer Rebellion have revealed Here I Am as the latest track from their new album Ghost Alive.

It’s another highly emotive cut from the band, and deals with the death of frontman Nathan Nicholson’s father. “Bereavement is an intensely personal experience that affects us all differently, but the point is that it affects us all,” he says. “Here I Am is about how we can form an eternal bond with those that are no longer here.”

Ghost Alive is due for release on March 23rd; “This album was certainly born during a particularly challenging time for my family and I,” Nicholson continues.

“Late one evening – right in the middle of pre-production – I was informed by telephone of my Dad’s passing. I was in London with my wife and son, and left first thing in the morning to fly back to Maryville, Tennessee, where I’m from.”

The band play a handful of UK tour dates later this month, visiting Leeds, Bristol, Manchester and London.
