Lovebox, Citadel events confirm new London location for 2018

The Citadel and Lovebox festivals’ intentions to move location has been long known, but there’s now been another switch meaning both events will take place at Gunnersbury Park in London this year.

“I am delighted to welcome the Lovebox and Citadel Festivals to the borough this summer,” Julian Bell, Leader of Ealing Council said. “Rightly recognised as among the very best anywhere across the capital and beyond, these festivals will boast acclaimed, international artists and a vibrant atmosphere for the many thousands of fans attending. Gunnersbury Park is a venue with an excellent which has attracted over 90,000 visitors in the past.”

Lovebox will be held between July 13th-14th, with Citadel taking place on Sunday, July 15th. The line-up for both events will be revealed later this month.

“We can’t wait to bring what is undoubtedly our best line up ever to historic Gunnersbury Park and to introduce a new and exciting urban space into the festival market,” organisers added.

“We look forward to working side by side with Ealing and Hounslow Borough Councils to bring the best in great music and popular culture to the area. Expect some amazing talent and the usual good vibes at our brand new home. We’d love to see you all there.”
