Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will put their new album Wrong Creatures out this Friday, and have shared Echo ahead of the January 12th release date.

This will be the band’s first studio album since 2013’s Specter At The Feast, during which time drummer Leah Shapiro suffered with some serious health issues. “It’s a crazy making machine, it can chew you up good, I mean we literally toured ‘til the wheels came off and Leah’s brain literally started leaking out of her head,” Robert Levon Been reflected.

“I know I’ve battled on and off with mental depression, and Peter Hayes’ head never came with any proper instructions.”

Hayes himself said:

“I find myself writing about death a lot. I find myself having a discussion with death, which sounds dark. For me, it’s dark humour.”
