The Holloways are planning a bigger comeback after playing an acoustic show earlier this year.

They will play the Nambucca venue in London on December 21st, with support from Bless, Pink Hotel and Gemma Rogers & The Mil Men, their first full-band outing since splitting in 2011. Three years later, tragedy struck when bandmember Rob Skipper died at the terribly young age of 28. “A week ago I found out we’d lost Rob, a brother and a friend,” Alfie Jackson responded at the time in a statement.

“We shared the most intense years of our life, he was an inspiration and a light that should still be shining. His music and his spirit will live forever but it still hurts and I am sad and angry.”

The Holloways, like so many others, enjoyed chart success in the mid-noughties upon the release of their debut album So This is Great Britain?, which is best remembered for launching the indie dancefloor favourite Generator.
