Morrissey airs Spent The Day In Bed on US television

Morrissey‘s North American tour might have been beset with the familiar issues of gig cancellations and disagreements with journalists, but it has at least been preserved to film thanks to his appearance on a special edition of CBS This Morning’s Saturday Sessions last weekend.

The singer aired his Low In High-School lead single Spent The Day In Bed after the scheduled appearance at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles was pulled earlier in the week. A statement from organisers said:

“It is with great regret that we must inform you that Morrissey’s performance for Sunday night’s show has been canceled due to illness…”

Morrissey will tour the UK and Ireland early next year, and is due to start at Aberdeen’s BHGE Arena.
