Benjamin Booker releases video for Believe

Benjamin Booker has released a video for Believe.

The promo was directed by James Lees, while the track is taken from this year’s Witness album, Booker’s follow-up to his 2014 self-titled debut. “We wanted to create something inherently musical and entertaining whilst still being a meditation on the themes within the song,” the director says.

“Being lost and directionless and the inherent human need to find a sense of belonging. The many false roads you find yourself down that ultimately fail to provide a purpose in life we all feel pressured to identify in adulthood.”

Booker will be in the UK later this month for shows at the Manchester Gorilla on November 13th and the London ULU on November 14th.

Witness details Booker’s deeply personal struggle with the subjects of identity and belonging in the wake of his first album’s release, something he detailed in length upon its announcement back in March this year.
