Viva Brother‘s comeback is continuing with the second new track Womankind.

Their return was announced earlier this month with details of a live gig at the Garage in London on November 30th, over five years on from their April 2012 split in the wake of debut album Famous First Words’ lack of chart impact.

Soon after, the band had relocated to New York and made a fresh start in a new guise called Lovelife. At this time, Live4ever found frontman Lee Newell already in reflective mood on the roller-coaster ride which had been phase one of Viva Brother. “I think your media persona is often an exaggeration of your actual one,” he told us.

“Of course I had a little bit of arrogance because I was in a band, a singer in a band and I love the music I write, I do. I did believe it and I can see having someone as animated as I was was a very attractive thing for the media. Whether it was to laugh with me or at me it was interesting and I can see that.”
