The xx, Gorillaz confirmed for 2018 Bilbao BBK event

The xx and Gorillaz are two acts confirmed nice and early for the 2018 leg of Bilbao BBK, which will be held next July.

Both have released new albums this year, with the Gorillaz album being a typically guest-laden affair. These included Damon Albarn’s reconciled rival Noel Gallagher, whose collaboration on We Got The Power – which also featured Jehnny Beth of Savages – he detailed to Rolling Stone.

“At one point, that track was Noel, me and Graham Coxon,” he said. “It was the ultimate self-congratulatory Britpop moment. It was the victory lap, these geezers singing about all the power they had.”

“I went back and opted to doing it like you play something at the end of a film, as the credits roll. Jehnny Beth was necessary. The testosterone levels were off the scale.”
