Photos: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds bring emotional Skeleton Tree album to Manchester

Nick Cave has recently been out playing some of his biggest UK shows with The Bad Seeds following the ecstatic response to the highly personal, highly emotional 2016 album Skeleton Tree.

Following quickly on from the LP earlier this year was a new compilation entitled Lovely Creatures which brought together the best of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds from their From Her To Eternity debut through to 2014’s Push The Sky Away. “Some songs are those that demand to be played live,” Cave said of it.

“Others are lesser songs that are personal favourites of ours. Others are just too big and have too much history to leave out. And there are those that didn’t make it, poor things. They are the ones you must discover by yourselves.”
