Noel Gallagher has announced an intimate London gig next month which will form part of a new film entitled On the Record: Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds — Who Built The Moon? which is due for release on the same date as his third solo album, November 24th.

Apple Music is behind the project, Gallagher is due at York Hall on November 1st. Ticket applications must be in by 11am BST on October 22nd.

Gallagher is currently on tour in South America supporting U2, from where he told Rock And Pop Chile that’s he’s expecting a passionate response either way to his latest LP. “It seems to have split my fanbase in two,” he said of lead single Holy Mountain.

“In the sense that all the girls love it and all the guys hate it. It just seems that way, and I’m on the side of the girls. I speak for the entire album here: the people who will like it will not just like it, they’ll love it, and people who don’t like it will hate it.”
