With the 25th anniversary of their first release approaching, the question of Oasis being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2019 was raised by attendees at a Noel Gallagher Q&A in Los Angeles last week, reports ET Canada.

In response, Gallagher apparently revealed Hall Of Fame representatives had already approached him about an Oasis reunion at the event in less than two years time, to which he had told them ‘it’s not going to happen’. Additionally asked if he thought Oasis deserved to be honoured, he is said to have replied ‘well, I certainly think I do’.

Noel Gallagher was at Capitol Records last week for an industry playback of his new High Flying Birds album Who Built The Moon?, which is due for release on November 24th.

It was recorded with producer David Holmes and, written from scratch in the studio, is expected to mark a significant departure in sound for the revered songwriter.
