Idlewild will mark the 15th anniversary of their breakthrough The Remote Part with December UK shows.
The band’s third studio album was released in the summer of 2002 and reached #3 on the UK charts off the back of critical acclaim and popular singles You Held The World In Your Arms and American English, a landmark set to be remembered at the O2 ABC in Glasgow on December 19th and 20th. Writing on Facebook, they’ve said:
“On December 19th & 20th we’ll be getting festive and celebrating the 15th anniversary of our album ‘The Remote Part’ by playing through it all (and other favourites) at the wonderful O2 ABC Glasgow. Then we’ll be getting back to work on finishing recording the new Idlewild album!”
That brand new record will be Idlewild’s first since 2015’s Everything Ever Written.
