Upon the re-release of their classic album Urban Hymns, The Verve‘s Bitter Sweet Symphony is the UK Vinyl Singles Chart‘s new number one.

It moves in ahead Woo Se Mama from Paul Weller and Liam Gallagher‘s debut solo single Wall Of Glass, while The Charlatans sit at #13 with Different Days.

Reflecting the surge in popularity of the traditional format, dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company in 2016 with the singles chart compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
