Michael Head

Michael Head has unveiled Rumer from his forthcoming new album Adiós Señor Pussycat.

The LP is set to be released on October 20th under the banner Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band, and was recorded in Liverpool between March 2016 and June 2017. With Shack still on hiatus, this is the latest new chapter for Head after a string of highly acclaimed releases; his 1997 LP The Magical World Of The Strands, for instance, was labelled by Richard Hawley as ‘one of the most accomplished albums of British songwriting of all time’.

He begins UK tour dates at Union Chapel in London tonight, moving on to Glasgow’s Oran Mor on October 5th, St George’s in Bristol on November 25th and Liverpool’s Invisible Wind Factory on December 16th.
