Liam Gallagher‘s stay at number one on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart has been brought to an end this week by The Charlatans.

The title-track of the band’s recent Different Days album is the highest new entry, with Liam Gallagher’s debut solo single Wall Of Glass down one place. Elsewhere, Kasabian have two spots in the Top 20 thanks to Comeback Kid and You’re In Love With A Psycho.

Reflecting the surge in popularity of the traditional format, dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company in 2016 with the singles chart compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
