Various Libertines gigs will be dotted around the British coast in September.
The band have unveiled their post-summer festival plans and have seven UK shows coming up as autumn rises, starting at the antiquated surroundings of Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom on September 22nd. There is time for one more festival appearance too, at Margate By The Sea on October 1st.
The Libertines’ successful reunion continues then, and may soon include more new material according to Carl Barat: “We’re looking to bed in together,” he told NME in late 2016. “We want to get our own place, which is a bit of a long and convoluted project. There’s a lot of planning and maybes which I can’t say too much about, but we’re looking at getting our own factory.”
“If we don’t have something by next year, then my name’s not Donald Clinton.”
