“It feels like it’s been a while since there’s been a band like LIFE,” was Live4ever’s opening gambit upon our first chat with the band at the start of this year.
After playing Rare Boots to the point of submission and making it one of our top tracks of 2016, we were able to make our introductions in February, summing the single up as, ‘belligerent, angry, raw and vital‘. “It’s what indie used to sound like, and should sound like. None of this modern, electric, 80’s influence hogwash. Instead, LIFE are back to punkier roots. Who needs digital when analogue sounds so good.”
And at the 2017 South By Southwest Festival, we were able to take the relationship to the next level as LIFE joined us in the Live4ever Media Lounge when we found out just how quickly things are moving for them, all careering towards the release of debut album Popular Music on May 26th.
