Everything Everything have decided their new material will need a more thorough test out on the road, adding two more shows to next month’s outings in Manchester and London.
With shows coming up at the Manchester Albert Hall on June 20th and London’s Heaven venue on June 21st, the band have scheduled two more at Hebden Bridge Trades Club on June 17th and Rescue Rooms in Nottingham the day after.
We were last in the presence of Everything Everything during the Fightback event in London last October, finding them dedicating ‘most of their slot to Get To Heaven’: “Jonathan Higgs‘ hyper-syllables (some might call it rap) on Distant Past and loquacious falsettos on just about everything else glare as bright as the fluttering backdrop colours. For anyone unsure of how to behave histrionically behind keyboards, the keyboardist educates.”
