The first wave of acts who’ll be joining Foals at the Citadel Festival on July 16th at Victoria Park in London have been revealed.

Leading the announcement is electronic vet Bonobo, as well as Wild Beasts and Laura Marling, while the local independent label Communion are curating a stage for the event.

Leading this will be Michael Kiwanuka, who released his stunning Love & Hate album last year, with Dan Croll, Twin Peaks and Nadine Shah amongst those also booked for the Communion Stage. “Playing a hometown show is always very special to me, but to play Citadel in Victoria Park this Summer is going to be incredible,” Kiwanuka has said.

“Ever since we released Love & Hate, the band and I have been dreaming of playing it at festivals. July can’t come soon enough. See you there.”

Foals’ appearance as headliners is a UK festival exclusive for 2017.
