Johnny Marr has returned to The The for a new track which will be released on Record Store Day.

Marr has teamed up with Matt Johnson on You Can’t Stop What’s Coming which will be out as a 7″ along with hundreds of other exclusive vinyls on April 22nd.

More than 500 special releases have been confirmed for this year’s Record Store Day.

These include a 12″ vinyl of Your Love Alone Is Not Enough from the Manic Street Preachers ahead of the tenth anniversary reissue of their Send Away The Tigers album, a rose gold foil cover, white vinyl of Take Control from Slaves, and a 7″ featuring two previously unreleased versions of The Smiths‘ The Boy With The Thorn In His Side and Rubber Ring.

Arcade Fire, Chance The Rapper, The Killers and Muse have been revealed as the Lollapalooza 2017 headliners.

Also performing at Grant Park in Chicago between August 3rd-6th are The xx, Alt-J, Run The Jewels, The Shins, Ryan Adams, Wiz Khalifa, Cloud Nothings, Warpaint, Temples and Foster The People.

Foals will play Eden Sessions in the UK on July 11th.

It’s been described as a ‘real coup’ by a spokesperson for the event as Foals join the previously confirmed Royal Blood in Cornwall. “It’s a real coup for the Sessions and for Cornwall that Foals have chosen to play Eden for their only non-festival show in England this year,” the response begins.

The inspiration of an independently organised Latin American tour is the story being told by Lucy Rose on her new album Something’s Changing.

The sights and sounds of this tour and how it helped to shape her new record, which is due for release on July 14th, is captured on an accompanying documentary short which will be seen during a ‘worldwide cinema tour’ starting in the spring.

An eclectic set of artists will be marking the 50th anniversary of The Beatles‘ landmark album Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in Liverpool in May and June.

Performances have been split into two halves to reflect the LP’s Side A and B, with the Mark Morris Dance Group opening up on the title-track.

Tim Burgess was on the UK’s BBC 6Music breakfast show last week announcing a brand new Charlatans album.

Different Days is the band’s thirteenth studio album and is due for release on May 26th, following on from the notable successes of 2015’s Modern Nature. Special guests on the record include Paul Weller and Johnny Marr, just two of many who joined in with sessions which were self-produced at their own studio in Crewe.

Feeder will be playing the London Koko on June 3rd as the headliners of this year’s Camden Rocks event.

“It’s great to be playing Koko again as part of Camden Rocks Festival in my old haunt,” frontman Grant Nicholas says. “I lived in Camden for over ten years and it’s where Feeder got started and played regularly back in the early and mid-nineties.”

Ride have confirmed their first album in two decades is called Weather Diaries and will be released on June 16th.

The track Charm Assault, which received its premiere last month, now has an official video to go with this announcement; in common with the rest of the LP it was mixed by the band’s former collaborator Alan Moulder and produced by DJ Erol Alkan.

Noel Gallagher and Jehnny Beth of Savages were some of the special guests helping Damon Albarn to debut the new Gorillaz album Humanz live in London last week.

Both feature on the record, which is due for release on April 28th, and were on stage at Printworks performing We Got The Power – naturally fan footage has found its way on to social media and can be viewed below.
