Alt-J have shared the new track 3WW whilst confirming their third album Relaxer for release on June 9th.

The first taste from the follow-up to 2014’s hypnotically glorious This Is All Yours features a guest appearance from Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell, and is revealed as Alt-J also announce their part in the 10th anniversary of London’s O2 Arena.

The Coral and Reverend & The Makers have been added to this year’s Camden Rocks line-up.

The former get top billing along with The Damned, while Jon McClure of Reverend & The Makers has said: “We are looking forward to Camden Rocks! We played it before and it was mega.”

Popular Music, the debut album from LIFE, has been confirmed for release on May 26th.

“’Popular Music’ sounds like panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week, about what you can weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper,” says Mez Sanders-Green.

Kasabian kicked off the touring which should take them to the release of a new album at some point this year in Sydney last week.

The two shows at the Sydney Opera House start a period on the road which will include many festival appearances this summer.

The xx have shared a video for Say Something Loving, taken from their latest album I See You.

“Here’s our new video for ‘Say Something Loving’, shot in London and directed by our friend Alasdair McLellan,” they’ve said. “We wanted to celebrate our hometown and revisit some of the places that remind us of our friendship, when we were growing up.”

Gorillaz 2

Damon Albarn will elicit the live return of Gorillaz at a brand new festival which he has curated with co-conspirator Jamie Hewlett.

Demon Dayz is to be headlined by Albarn’s acclaimed, animated side project, with three stages of eclectic artists set to be confirmed soon for the Dreamland amusement park in Margate on Saturday, June 10th.

Richard Ashcroft has revealed the acts who’ll be supporting his outdoor show in Manchester this summer.

Ashcroft is a part of Sounds Of The City at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on June 30th, where Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and The Sherlocks are going to be backing him up.

The xx have added a headline appearance at Rock En Seine to their 2017 touring.

PJ Harvey, Franz Ferdinand and Flume join them as main acts in Paris, France between August 25th-27th, with Cypress Hill and The Pretty Reckless among those also confirmed for the festival.

The first wave of acts who’ll be joining Foals at the Citadel Festival on July 16th at Victoria Park in London have been revealed.

Leading the announcement is electronic vet Bonobo, as well as Wild Beasts and Laura Marling, while the local independent label Communion are curating a stage for the event.

Steve Cradock and The Libertines‘ Gary Powell will tour with The Specials when the band visits North America in June.

After the sad and untimely deaths of Rico Rodriguez and John Bradbury in 2015, Exclaim has reported the rejigging of The Specials’ live set-up, Cradock on guitar and Powell on drums for the dates which start with two nights at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hal
