The Maccabees‘ warm-up shows and Michael Kiwanuka‘s October UK tour have gone on sale today.
Earlier this week The Maccabees revealed preparatory gigs in Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle for the official farewell shows in Manchester and London, while Michael Kiwanuka has added an October tour to the spring leg which starts in Manchester on April 29th.
Guitarist Felix White has predicted these will be‘the best Maccabees gigs ever’: “Those gigs are going to be the best Maccabees gigs ever,” he told NME. “It’s going to be a pretty special thing because it’s quite rare that everyone in the place knows how important that little moment is.
“I think they’re going to be valuable little things. I don’t think we need to do too much more than just be The Maccabees.”
