Green Man has unveiled its Thursday night line-up for 2017, with Ride leading the way and Hinds among the festival’s other new additions.

DD Dumbo, Daniel Avery and Stevie Parker are some other new names for the event which is held on the UK’s Brecon Beacons this coming August.

Ride join the other headliners Ryan Adams, Future Islands and PJ Harvey soon after confirming the first studio album of their reunion, Weather Diaries, for release on June 16th.

Of the new material, Andy Bell has singled out Home Is A Feeling as the one which ‘comes closest to the early Ride sound’. “We felt comfortable going vintage on this tune because the album we are making has a pretty broad sonic scope,” he continued.

“It’s a short and sweet, melodic tune, with stacked harmonies, reverbed-out guitars, slowed down drums, and a huge distorted bass sound.”
