Milburn, Carl Barat & The Jackals, The Rifles new for Camden Rocks 2017

Milburn, Carl Barat & The Jackals, The Rifles and The King Blues have joined the line-up for this year’s Camden Rocks Festival.

There’s plenty more new names on the bill for June 3rd – Slydigs, Max Raptor and When We Were Wolves being some of them – but Milburn are likely to grab the most attention as they add more to the reunion which started with a bang in Sheffield last year.

It’s also included some new material, the origins of Midnight Control previously explained by Joe Carnall:

“After the chaos that was the Sheffield ‘comeback’ shows it was important to us that we released some new material if we were going to take the project any further.”

“‘Midnight Control’ is an accidental pop song. We just tried to encapsulate where we are now both musically and lyrically. ‘Forming Of A Fate’ is more of a straight up romper stomper – we can’t wait to play it live.”
