Interpol should be well into the recording of a new album by the time their Turn On The Bright Lights 15th anniversary tour is concluded later this year.
After announcing the birthday bash yesterday, a spokesperson has added that the band are, ‘currently working on new material in their native New York’, with the album, ‘due for release through Matador Records in 2018’.
The Bright Lights tour is a summer affair, starting on August 9th in Prague and hitting the UK for London and Manchester shows right at the start of September.
