David Bowie’s Blackstar back on top of UK Record Store Chart

Record Store Chart

David Bowie‘s final studio album Blackstar is back at number one on the UK Record Store Chart.

Now a year on from its release and the icon’s death, Blackstar climbs from #4 to top the chart ahead of a new entry from Sundara Karma. A Tribe Called Quest are also a big climber this week, while another Bowie album, Legacy, sits at #4.

Launched in conjunction with the Record Store Day celebrations of 2012, the UK Record Store Chart aims to support Britain’s independent music shops and is compiled entirely from sales registered at 100 of those leading outlets.
