Putting Cabbage on a list of top tips for 2017 is a good idea, we can all agree.
But when you’re The Sun, and you’ve not paid too much attention to what exactly it is that has got the the band this far, it should probably be considered otherwise.
“The Sun championed us as a top tip for 2017,” the band have responded on Twitter (via BBC). “What morons!”
“Don’t buy The Sun,” they continued. “Don’t even walk past it without burning it, or spitting on it. They try to tell you what to think. They exploit every single one of you and affect the way you think.
“Everyone has a member of their family or a friend affected by this awful repeated propaganda. It’s a crime.”
Cabbage released their third EP in as many months, Terrorist Synthesizer, back in November, and tour the UK in February. Read their full response to The Sun right here:
