If The xx‘s grand plan for the build-up to their next album was mystery, intrigue and subtlety, then it might all have just been royally gazumped by Shazam.
Doing the rounds now thanks to an apparent leak from the app service, and Reddit detectives, is a rumoured tracklist and release schedule for the band’s long awaited third record. The 12 songs linked are listed below, the title is said to be See You and it could be out before the end of this year.
If true, it’s a bit of a spoiler for the band who have before this been indulging in uploading some rather puzzling new music clips to Spotify by way of increasing hype for the successor to 2012’s Coexist.
