The Orwells will make their return on February 17th next year with the second major label LP Terrible Human Beings.

Pixies have been emphatically singled out as a chief inspiration during the recording of their follow-up to 2014’s Disgraceland by guitarist Matt O’Keefe. “The Pixies were an obsession when we were writing this album,” he says. “I think that’s where a lot of trying to make the songs and the guitar parts very simple was coming from, because the Pixies are kings of that.”

“We’ve always been a simple band, but this time it was about trying to keep everything straightforward, nothing flashy.”

Hot on the heels of Buddy is another new track for us to digest, They Put a Body In The Bayou, while more of the album should be on show when they play UK gigs at the Leeds Wardrobe and Tufnell Park Dome in London next month.
