Augustines‘ farewell to the UK arrived in Leeds on October 23rd – Live4ever’s Gary Mather was there to soak up an emotionally-charged evening.

After three studio albums which began in 2011 with Rise Ye Sunken Ships, Augustines announced this UK tour would be their last with a farewell note to fans in September. “With a heavy heart, we are writing you today to let everyone know that our upcoming fall tour will be our last,” they wrote.
“Despite the news, we are looking forward to the tour and the opportunity to sing together with you, the band’s fourth and loudest member, one last time.”
“Over the last six years we have far exceeded any and all expectations we had when we started Augustines. Our original mission was to create music we believed in, to be conscious at all times and to pursue joy in our lives, and that is exactly what we have done, and will continue to do.”
