Liam Gallagher‘s solo plans for 2017 have taken another step forward with the news of his signing to Coda Music Agency.

Coda will handle Gallagher’s touring behind the first solo LP which is expected next year on Warner Bros. Records.

“Coda is proud to announce one of the true music legends of our time joins our ranks,” said Coda agent and partner Alex Hardee.

“With a new record deal with Warners, exciting times lay ahead.”

Details surrounding Gallagher’s debut LP pretty much end there; though he’s been at pains to avoid the dreaded ‘solo’ word, any studio collaborations or the make-up of his live band remain as-yet unknown.

It’ll mark his return though after the split of Beady Eye in 2014 followed the walk out of Oasis by elder brother Noel in the summer of 2009.
