Radiohead have shared a video for ‘Present Tense’ which was debuted at the Mercury Prize ceremony in London yesterday.

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, it features Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood showcasing the track from this year’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool‘ record; their contribution to the live performances from the Mercury acts at the Eventim Apollo on Thursday evening.

‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ made the final six on the evening – as did David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’, Laura Mvula, Michael Kiwanuka, Skepta and, via a public vote, The 1975 – but ultimately became the fifth LP from the band to fall short at the final hurdle following the similar nominations and overlooks of ‘OK Computer‘ (1997), ‘Amnesiac‘ (2001), ‘Hail To The Thief‘ (2003) and ‘In Rainbows‘ (2008).

It was Skepta who emerged triumphant in the end with ‘Konnichiwa’.
